For nearly ten years, Loring Randolph (b. 1981) has been working with Casey Kaplan in New York. As the director of the gallery, she helps to manage and grow the gallery program, cultivates and maintains client and artist relationships, and generates sales to private and public collections. She has introduced the work of Mateo López and Hugh Scott-Douglas to the gallery as well as worked closely with artists Liam Gillick, Trisha Donnelly, Jonathan Monk, Brian Jungen, Jason Dodge, Sarah Crowner, Nathan Carter, Garth Weiser, Marlo Pascual, Kevin Beasley, amongst others.
Since 2011, she has curated 3 group exhibitions, including the 2015 summer show – I am attracted none the less, their variousness, their ingenuity, their élan vital, and that something, essence quiddity, I cannot penetrate or name – which runs through August 7th. Prior to Casey Kaplan she lived in London and worked briefly with Timothy Taylor gallery and Sotheby’s, both in London and New York. She holds a Masters in Arts Business from Sotheby’s Institute in London, as well as a BFA in Graphic design and BA in Art History from the University of Michigan.
